A European delegation headed by the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Thomas Mayr-Harting, visited Pridnestrovie. The diplomats were received by Vadim Krasnoselsky at the Office of the PMR President. Welcoming the guests, the Pridnestrovian Head of State noted that almost five months had passed since the previous conversation. The events of this period encourage no optimism.

Vadim Krasnoselsky met with Claus Neukirch at the PMR President’s Office. The European diplomat is in Pridnestrovie on a working visit, one of the many in the last four years. He systematically visited the republic, participated in the negotiation process as an OSCE representative, came as a member of various delegations, and regularly had tete-à-tete meetings with the PMR President. The peculiarity of this visit is that it is the final one: Claus Neukirch is leaving his post as Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, which he has held since September 2018.

Welcoming the Ambassador, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that he appreciated the opportunity to communicate with an experienced and knowledgeable diplomat.

Pridnestrovian President Vadim Krasnoselsky met with Russian diplomats at the site of the Pridnestrovian presidential administration. The Russian MFA’s delegation was headed by Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian MFA Vitaly Tryapitsyn. He was accompanied by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov, Co-Chairman of the Joint Control Commission from the Russian Federation Alexander Andreev and assistant of Vitaly Tryapitsyn Arif Gadzhiev. Pridnestrovian Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev took part in the working discussion.

PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in a plenary session of the PMR Supreme Council. One of the issues on the agenda was the statement of the Pridnestrovian parliamentarians, designed to bring the attention of the international community to the situation around Pridnestrovie, which the deputies described as volatile. Deputy Chairman Galina Antyufeyeva read out the text of the deputy statement, preliminarily noting that a meeting of the relevant parliamentary committee was held today, with the participation of the PMR Foreign Minister.

The office of the Pridnestrovian head of state hosted the next meeting between Pridnestrovian president Vadim Krasnoselsky and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Her Majesty the Queen of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Moldova Steven Fisher. Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev and the British Embassy representative Iulia Gutuleac also took part in the discussion. Welcoming the guests, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that more than four months had passed since the last (February) conversation.

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky continues his working visit to Moscow. New meetings were held today in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. The PMR President met with the leader of the “Fair Russia – For the Truth” party, Sergei Mironov as well as with the deputies of the “Fair Russia” Ruslan Tatarinov and Leonid Romanovich.

The meeting of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky and Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev was held in Moscow. They talked about the state of affairs in the negotiation process, discussed options for resolving the problems that Pridnestrovians face due to the restrictions imposed by Moldova. In particular, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted the growing stagnation at all levels of the negotiation process.

The President Vadim Krasnoselsky held a number of meetings in the State Duma of the Russian Federation today. One of these meetings was with Russian parliamentarians, who were elected in our republic at the elections to the State Duma in September 2021. Vadim Krasnoselsky was greeted by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergei Neverov. The meeting was also attended by parliamentarians Sergei Chizhov, Marina Orgeeva.

Vadim Krasnoselsky met with Uldis Mikuts, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to the Republic of Moldova, in the office of the Head of the Pridnestrovian State. The previous communication is dated 2019. The sides noted that the pandemic and the rhythm of society’s life that it affected creates a feeling of a much longer absence of bilateral contacts.

A working meeting of the Pridnestrovian leader Vadim Krasnoselsky with the Ambassador-at-Large of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation Vitaly Tryapitsyn took place in the Administration of the PMR President. The Russian guest was accompanied by Co-Chairman of the Joint Control Commission from Russia Andrey Gorobtsov and Assistant to the Ambassador Arif Hajiyev. The meeting of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky with the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ann Linde took place in Bendery. She is accompanied by Special Representative Thomas Mayr-Harting, Head of the OSCE Mission in Moldova Claus Neukirch, Swedish Ambassador Katarina Fried, as well as a large group of officials representing the Swedish Foreign Ministry and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. The Pridnestrovian side was also represented by Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and his Deputy Alexandr Stetsiuk.

The presidential executive office hosted a meeting of Vadim Krasnoselsky with the American delegation, headed by the Deputy Assistant Secretary responsible for Central and Eastern Europe in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Robin Dunnigan. She was accompanied by US Charge d'Affaires in RM Laura Ruby and Political and Economic Counselor at the US Embassy Anna Margolis.

The purposes of the meeting were exceptionally informational. Robin Dunnigan has been in her current position for less than a month - since September 7 this year.

A group of diplomats headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Moldova Katarina Fried arrived in Tiraspol. The delegation was received by the Head of the Pridnestrovian state Vadim Krasnoselsky. The meeting was held in the conversation room of the PMR President Administration. Officially, it is considered introductory, since Katarina Fried is in the Pridnestrovian capital and directly communicates with the head of the country as the head of a foreign embassyfor the first time.
