Vitaly Ignatiev held a working meeting with Kelly Keiderling. The diplomat spoke about the current situation in Pridnestrovie, as well as the negative impact of the “prolonged pause” in the negotiation process, during which “the Moldovan side is doing everything possible to undermine the dialogue mechanisms”.

On March 18, at the initiative of the Pridnestrovian side, the session of Expert (Working) Groups on Economic Issues was held at the OSCE Mission Office in Tiraspol, in the presence of the OSCE and Russian Federation mediators.
The agenda of the meeting focused on organizational and legal issues of interaction between Pridnestrovie and Moldova in the gas and energy sector.
Both sides agreed on the need to preserve a stable legal regime for the supply of raw materials that takes into account the current risks and needs of Pridnestrovian consumers.

On 7 March, at the initiative of the ICRC Delegation representatives in the Republic of Moldova, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a meeting of PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev with Walter Jeanty, Head of the ICRC Delegation. 

Greeting the guests, Vitaly Ignatiev described the situation in Pridnestrovie since the beginning of the year – the outbreak and development of the energy crisis, its negative impact on the social, humanitarian and economic spheres, as well as the measures taken by the state to stabilize the situation and ensure energy sustainability in the future.

Today, on February 28, at the initiative of the Pridnestrovian side, an on-site meeting of Expert (Working) Groups of Pridnestrovie and Moldova on educational issues took place in Rybnitsa in the presence of the negotiation process representatives of mediators and observers. 
During the visit, the experts, together with senior officials of State Administration of Rybnitsa District and Rybnitsa City, inspected the unfinished building at Gagarin Street, 14. The parties agreed to work together on the feasibility of using the premises for educational purposes.

Today, at the initiative of the Pridnestrovian side, an online meeting of the transport and road expert (working) groups was held. The meeting focused on issues related to the operation of the Vehicle Registration Offices in Tiraspol and Ribnitsa, along with a number of other topics of interest.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a meeting between PMR Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Moldova Oleg Ozerov during his working visit to Pridnestrovie, as part of an extensive program.
During the dialogue, the diplomats aligned their positions on the main issues of the negotiation process and the current situation in Pridnestrovie, with an emphasis on exchanging opinions and assessments on ways to address the fuel and energy crisis.

The diplomats summarized the results of the expiring year. After sharing views on the full range of implemented activities, they underlined the high bilateral cooperation dynamics and active all-level engagement, both officially and publicly.

On November 26, 2024, Expert (Working) Groups on Environmental Issues from Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova held a video conference.

Pridnestrovie initiated discussion of issues related to the implementation of the Protocol on Cooperation between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova in Fishery Management and Rational Use of Dniester Aquatic Biological Resources dated June 15, 2016.

The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting of PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev with Doris El Doueihy, Head of ICRC Delegation in the Republic of Moldova.

Welcoming the guests, Vitaly Ignatiev underlined the systematic nature of cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). According to him, the Pridnestrovian side appreciates current activities of the Committee in Pridnestrovie, while looking forward to further cooperation.

The agenda included issues raised by the Pridnestrovian side concerning the inadmissibility of restricting the supply of medicines to Pridnestrovie, including public contract procurements for healthcare facilities, as well as parapharmaceuticals (biologically active supplements). The participants emphasized the need to maintain working interaction when importing medicines to Pridnestrovie, as well as the expansion of the nomenclature of available supplies to pharmacy networks.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pridnestrovie Vitaly Ignatiev received Ambassador Thomas Mayr-Harting, Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office. The meeting was also attended by the head of the expert working group on economic issues, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, Sergei Obolonik, and the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Kelly Keiderling.

The authorized experts of the parties in the field of phytosanitary and veterinary science met today in the format of a video conference.
During the meeting, the sides discussed specific aspects of imports to Pridnestrovie and the use of plant protection and soil fertility improvement means, as well as veterinary drugs.
The parties agreed to exchange information in a timely manner when identifying foci of infectious animal diseases, as well as to take the necessary steps to prevent the availability of infected animal products in retail chains.

Today, after a year and a half break, a meeting of the Pridnestrovian and Moldovan expert (working) groups on legal, regulatory and documentary support for citizens was held in the videoconference format to discuss the current points of concern in this field.

In the course of the dialogue, the Pridnestrovian side reiterated its openness to setting up a mutually acceptable mechanism for the exchange of information between the civil registry authorities and the archival services in order to simplify procedures in the best interests of citizens.

The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting between PMR Deputy Foreign Minister Alexandr Stetsiuk and representatives of the International Organization for Migration.

As the diplomat underscored, a continuous open dialogue with the IOM and other UN family agencies is essential to promote their activities on the territory of Pridnestrovie.

The sides exchanged views on social and humanitarian project activities, including support for refugees from Ukraine, combating human trafficking and domestic violence, as well as aid to socially vulnerable groups.
