The authorized experts of the parties in the field of phytosanitary and veterinary science met today in the format of a video conference.
During the meeting, the sides discussed specific aspects of imports to Pridnestrovie and the use of plant protection and soil fertility improvement means, as well as veterinary drugs.
The parties agreed to exchange information in a timely manner when identifying foci of infectious animal diseases, as well as to take the necessary steps to prevent the availability of infected animal products in retail chains.
As to the export of pets by individuals with the PMR-issued veterinary documents, the Pridnestrovian side urged the Republic of Moldova not to impede the non-commercial movement of pets provided that the veterinary and sanitary rules for the maintenance and protection of pets are observed.
