Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a meeting of Alexander Khonitsky, Head of Department for Non-CIS Countries and International Organizations, and Andrey Lozinsky, Head of the Department for CIS Affairs and Negotiation Processes, with Kristin Jenssen, UN Peace and Development Advisor, and Laure Storne, UN Assistant on Inclusion of Vulnerable Population Groups.
As part of the dialogue, UN representatives shared the work plans of UN agencies for the upcoming year and emphasized that supporting vulnerable population groups will remain a priority for designated organizations.
Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted problematic issues related to restrictions imposed by the Republic of Moldova and drew particular attention to the problem of importing medications into Pridnestrovie.
During the discussion, the parties also exchanged views on other issues and agreed to maintain working communication.
