The agenda included issues raised by the Pridnestrovian side concerning the inadmissibility of restricting the supply of medicines to Pridnestrovie, including public contract procurements for healthcare facilities, as well as parapharmaceuticals (biologically active supplements). The participants emphasized the need to maintain working interaction when importing medicines to Pridnestrovie, as well as the expansion of the nomenclature of available supplies to pharmacy networks.
The sides discussed the information provided by the Republic of Moldova on laboratory tests of imported medicines and possible solutions to avoid ungrounded restrictions on their import to Pridnestrovie. In particular, they reached a common understanding on possible cooperation within the drug safety research in Pridnestrovie, taking into account the necessary upgrade of the laboratory infrastructure.
