On September 2, in the Central Exhibition Hall of the Union of Artists of Abkhazia in the city of Sukhum, opened the photo exhibition dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic foundation.


The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev met with Alexander Vataman, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in Pridnestrovie and Vitaly Yankovsky, the Head of the Official Representation of the Republic of South Ossetia in the PMR.


The Pridnestrovian Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev met with the Artsakh Republic Delegation headed by Artur Tovmasyan, Chairman of the National Assembly. The Artsakh Delegation was as well presented by Semyon Afiyan the State Secretary-Manager of the MFA Apparatus, the Chairman of the National Assembly Adviser Karen Vanyan and the Head of Trade Representative in Pridnestrovie Gegam Gevorkyan. 


On the eve of the 30th Anniversary of the republic the Pridnestrovian State University named after Taras Shevchenko gave the start to the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Pridnestrovie within the modern geopolitical reality: 30 years of successful state building and responsible participation in international cooperation", arranged by the Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry and PSU.



The Nagorno-Karabakh Delegation headed by the Chairman of the National Assembly of the republic Artur Tovmasyan arrived in Tiraspol to take part in the festive events dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of the PMR. The Head of the Pridnestrovian State met with the fraternal peoples’ representatives as well.



The Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry informs that the VROs situated in Tiraspol and Rybnitsa suspend their activity and will temporary switch to a consultative working mode starting with September 1, 2020.

Such changing in the working mode caused the Republic of Moldova’s decision to recall its representatives that used to work within the VRO for getting through some technical training procedures; namely this fact led to their activity cessation and to a relevant VRO functionality shortage.

The Pridnestrovian Foreign Minister, Vitaly Ignatiev, sent congratulations to the heads of foreign affairs agencies of the republics Daur Kove and Dmitry Medoev on independence recognition anniversary of Abkhazia and South Ossetia by the Russian Federation.



This year’s first expert (working groups) videoconference meeting on legal and documentation support for citizens of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova took place on August 24.

During the meeting, the sides continued reviewing issues on working out a data exchange comprehensive mechanism that contains citizen’s personal data and discussed as well the mutual data exchange in the line of civil registry office.



Today, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Alexander Stetsiuk held a videoconference conversation with the Deputy Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Antti Karttunen.
