The Pridnestrovian Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted the Republic of Moldova’s next in turn fact of blocking freight import to Pridnestrovie. And namely, since April 25, the Republic of Moldova is detaining on its territory the vehicle that transports equipment meant for providing security to the healthcare workers in the fight against coronavirus infection pandemic.

The Pridnestrovian Ministry of Foreign Affairs cannot leave without reaction the latest hypocritical and false in their content attacks of the Moldovan authorities on Pridnestrovie voiced by the Republic of Moldova’s political representative.

In the framework of constant working communication, a telephone conversation between the Pridnestrovian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev and the Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sergey Gubarev took place.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR welcomed the decision of the Moldovan side to facilitate accommodation and professional conditions on the territory of the Republic of Moldova for the medical staff concerned during the lockdown.

The Pridnestrovian side has initially been consistent in proposing this recommendation to Moldovan representatives and welcomes this long-overdue decision taking into account the international and Pridnestrovian experience in coronavirus infection containment based on people’s life and health care.

The PMR Ministry of Foreign Affairs reviewed the representative on political issues from the Republic of Moldova Cristina Lesnic’s statements on convening a kind of “emergency” video meeting with the “5 + 2” format representatives’ participation.

A whole series of objective facts completely offsets Chisinau’s speculative attacks.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs got acquainted with the Office of the Representative for Political Affairs of the Republic of Moldova information message which states that Pridnestrovie did not allegedly respond about a regular meeting of Expert (Working) Groups on health issues holding.

This information is incorrect since the answer was indeed sent on April 8.

The Pridnestrovian Foreign Minister held a video format negotiation with the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Thomas Mayr-Harting and the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Klaus Neukirch.
