At the site of the PMR President Administration, the Pridnestrovian Head of State Vadim Krasnoselsky met with Olga Chebotari, the newly appointed political representative of Moldova in the negotiation process. The meeting bore an informational purpose. Olga Chebotari took the negotiator's chair four days ago. Welcoming the interlocutor, Vadim Krasnoselsky congratulated her on the appointment, called the position held being responsible and difficult.



The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR, Vitaly Ignatiev sent condolences to the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Thomas Mayr-Harting and to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to the Republic of Moldova, Mrs. Stella Avallone, over the people who died in the terrorist attacks in Vienna.



The Pridnestrovian Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted the meeting of Vitaly Ignatiev and Vitaly Yankovsky, the Head of the Official Representative Office of the Republic of South Ossetia in Pridnestrovie.   

Meeting the guest, Vitaly Ignatiev assessed positively the bilateral cooperation continuation in a systemic, dynamic and meaningful way despite objective, related to COVID-19 pandemic circumstances.

The Head of Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry, Vitaly Ignatiev sent his condolences to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Masis Mayilyan on the tragic loss of the head of the Diaspora Department of the Artsakh Foreign Ministry, Yervand Hadzhiyan.

The PMR Foreign Minister stressed that in the memory of the Artsakh people Yervand Khadzhiyan will remain "a selfless, principled and consistent fighter for country’s freedom and independence, a brave and courageous citizen of his state."


On October 7, 2020, the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic law enforcement agencies detained a group of people for committing a number of crimes on the territory of Pridnestrovie; it is to be noted that two of them are being active members of the security forces of the Republic of Moldova.

Certain political forces in Moldova tried to speculate on the situation for electoral purposes. As you know, Pridnestrovie takes a principled position of non-interference in internal political processes in the neighboring state.



A video conference of expert (working) groups on transport and road facilities was held today. Representatives of mediators and observers participated as well.



Today, the Pridnestrovian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vitaly Ignatiev initiated a telephone conversation with the Head of the Foreign Ministry of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, Masis Mayilyan.

During the conversation, Vitaly Ignatiev noted that Pridnestrovie was concerned to learn about the full-scale hostilities that started on the Artsakh-Azerbaijan border. In this regard, the diplomat expressed words of empathy for Artsakh people in connection with the conflict escalation caused by hostile armed formations’ onset.
