Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry hosted the meeting of Minister Vitaly Ignatiev with the Head of the Official Representative Office of the Republic of South Ossetia in Pridnestrovie Vitaly Yankovsky. Deputy Minister Alexander Stetsiuk attended the meeting as well.

On June 10, 2020, the expert (working) groups on education from Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova held a video format meeting.

The Pridnestrovian side outlined a wide range of issues related to the interests of Pridnestrovians in terms of academic mobility and other pressing issues in the education field.

The Moldavian side was not ready for a substantive constructive dialogue on the issue of super legalization of the T.G. Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University diplomas necessary for its graduates when using this document in Germany.

We took note of the dubious PR campaign of Moldova’s political representative in the form of a press conference on the results and recommendations following the WHO delegation’s visit to Pridnestrovie on May 6.

The Moldovan head of state, Igor Dodon initiated a telephone conversation with Pridnestrovian President Vadim Krasnoselsky. Interlocutors discussed the progress of the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova. The parties touched upon a number of expert (working) groups’ activities. They agreed to continue the working dialogue aimed at confidence improving between the sides.

The meeting between the Pridnestrovian President with the European diplomat took place in a video format. The Head of the PMR’s Foreign Ministry, Vitaly Ignatiev attended the meeting as well.

Greeting Klaus Neukirch, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that international Community Representatives’ attention is important to the republic. The Head of OSCE Mission to Moldova stated ad his turn that he is attentively following the situation in Pridnestrovie and the events occurring along the perimeter that have influence on.

The Pridnestrovian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs that the Republic of Moldova has returned to destructive, antihuman methods blocking the import to Pridnestrovie of the so needed medicines to be used within pandemic fight.

Today, took place the meeting of subgroup on banking issues in a video conference format initiated by the Pridnestrovian side with representatives of international partners’ participation. It was for the first time after six-month that the meeting of specialists representing the banking sector of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova was arranged. The break was caused by Kishinev's continuous work avoiding on this topic.

As part of restrictive measures phased mitigation, from June 1, 2020, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is resuming the reception of applicants for the state service Legalization of Documents provision in compliance with quarantine measures.  

Applicants will be admitted on business days strictly after being appointed by telephone 0 533 7 4405; recording and consultations are to be held from 8:30 to 10:00 and from 14:00 to 15:00.

Vadim Krasnoselsky met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov. The conversation held in the Pridnestrovian Head’s office was arranged in compliance with all security measures. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev attended the meeting as well. The interlocutors discussed the way the situation with coronavirus spread develops in Pridnestrovie, in Russia and in the world, exchanged views on the effectiveness of measures taken to prevent it.

The Pridnestrovian Ministry of Foreign Affairs noticed the awkward statements of the Moldovan representative’s office on political issues as to the effective actions the Pridnestrovian side has taken to return hundreds of citizens of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic home within international transport restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
