Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry hosted the meeting of Minister Vitaly Ignatiev with the Head of the Official Representative Office of the Republic of South Ossetia in Pridnestrovie Vitaly Yankovsky. Deputy Minister Alexander Stetsiuk attended the meeting as well.
Welcoming the guest, Vitaly Ignatiev praised official contacts continuation between the Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry and the Official Representation even after the break caused by COVID-19 pandemic and also thanked the Ambassador of the Republic of South Ossetia for his proactive stance that helps strengthening bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, interlocutors discussed a wide range of topical issues on cooperation agenda between Pridnestrovie and Alania. Separately were mentioned some aspects of the PMR’s representative offices functioning in the republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
As part of communication, diplomats also paid attention to a number of joint projects and initiatives implementation, including the II International Drawing Contest "Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Pridnestrovie: Great Victory heirs."
Ending the meeting, parties confirmed their readiness to continue systemic contacts on entire spectrum of areas of mutual interest.
