Vadim Krasnoselsky met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov. The conversation held in the Pridnestrovian Head’s office was arranged in compliance with all security measures. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev attended the meeting as well. The interlocutors discussed the way the situation with coronavirus spread develops in Pridnestrovie, in Russia and in the world, exchanged views on the effectiveness of measures taken to prevent it. They talked about the course of negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova that became much more complicated within the pandemic context. Various aspects of Russian-Pridnestrovian cooperation were touched upon. The contacts of the Pridnestrovian leadership with the Russian diplomacy continue to develop despite temporary limitations caused by the worldwide COVID-19 spread. The interlocutors agreed to continue the working order cooperation by means of telephone and other accessible and safe forms of communication.
