The Head of State touched upon the contribution to the tension in the countries neighboured by the republic in his address to Pridnestrovians on air of the PervyPridnestrovsky TV Channel.
In particular, the President commented on the accusations of representatives of Ukrainian Parliament that Pridnestrovie allegedly interfered in the internal affairs of Ukraine.
President Yevgeny Shevchuk received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in the Republic of Moldova Ivan Gnatishin. The Ukrainian diplomat entered upon his duties on September 21, 2015. The meeting took place at the initiative of the Ukrainian side.

President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk meets with Chairman of the Synodal Department of the Moscow Patriarchate for Relations between Church and Society Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin. Taking part in the meeting was Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation – Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski, Minister of Social Protection and Labour of the PMR Oksana Bulanova, and Archbishop Savva of Tiraspol and Dubossary.

This was the main topic discussed by the republican leadership and Russia's vice premier, Dmitriy Rogozin, during a teleconference in Tiraspol's humanities and maths gymnasium.
It is recalled that by 1 September all Russian-language schools will be supplied with a complete set of latest generation textbooks, published to comply with the very latest requirements for contents, design and sanitary-hygienic standards.
