Ambassador-at-Large of the Foreign Ministry of Russia Sergey Gubarev paid an official visit to Pridnestrovie. The Russian delegation also included Deputy Director of the Second Department of the CIS of the Russian Foreign Ministry Vitaly Tryapitsyn. Russian diplomats were received by President Yevgeny Shevchuk. The meeting was also attended by acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev.
President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk met with the OSCE delegation headed by Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Ambassador Cord Hinrich Meier-Klodt. We remind that in 2016 Germany will chair the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. Taking part in the meeting was also acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev.
Head of State Yevgeny Shevchuk is on a working visit to the Russian Federation. The President of Pridnestrovie met with Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government, Special Representative of the Russian President on Pridnestrovie Dmitry Rogozin in Moscow. The dialogue discussed the socio-economic situation in Pridnestrovie, taking into account the impact of the regional economic crisis.
The meeting was held within the framework of maintaining regular working contacts.
President Yevgeny Shevchuk took part in the expanded session of the collegium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR. The meeting summed up the results of activities of the Foreign Ministry for 2015, as well as defined goals and objectives for the near future.
During his speech the head of state made a positive assessment of the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Yevgeny Shevchuk also congratulated the Pridnestrovian diplomats and veterans of the department on their professional holiday.

Today the PMR’s President received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USA to the RM James Pettit. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Dmitry Palamarchuk. The dialogue was initiated by the American side.
President Yevgeny Shevchuk held a meeting with Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR. Vitaly Ignatiev informed the Head of State about the work being done by the Foreign Ministry on the most topical issues of the negotiation process with the Republic of Moldova.

President signed a Decree appointing Vitaly Ignatiev Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Pursuant to the signed document Vitaly Ignatiev is also entrusted with functions of Special Representative of the President for the negotiation process, interaction with diplomatic missions and international organizations.

Head of state was informed that the scheme of movement of goods imported into Pridnestrovie by railway will be changed from January 1, 2016 by the decision of the Ukrainian and Moldovan sides.
