The small hall of the Dvorets Respubliki in Tiraspol hosted the session of the expanded Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry Collegium during which three publications having seen the light of day in 2016 were presented. They were: information analytical journal of the MFA of the PMR “Diplomatic bulletin of Pridnestrovie” No.14, collection of articles “Eurasian Pridnestrovie.
Today President of the PMR Yevgeny Shevchuk awarded the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR the Order “For Merit” II Class for achievements in the development of mutually beneficial relations between the Russian Federation and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, for establishing and strengthening cooperation with international partners, on the 25th anniversary of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the Day of the Worker of Diplomatic Service.
Today, the expanded session of the Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry Collegium was held in the small hall of the Dvorets Respubliki (State Cultural Center), arranged to coincide with the Day of the Worker of Diplomatic Service of Pridnestrovie. The event was attended by President of the PMR Yevgeny Shevchuk, Chairperson of the Government of the PMR Pavel Prokudin, Chairpersons of the Constitutional, Arbitration, Supreme Courts, heads of executive body of state authority, representatives of public organizations.
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev sent congratulations to Head of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov on the occasion of the Day of Diplomatic Worker.
On February 9, 2016 the first in this year meeting of the expert (working) groups of the sides on telecommunications and postal service took place in the office of the OSCE Mission in Kishinev. The meeting was attended by representatives of the mediators and observers in the negotiation process.
During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the current situation in the field of planning, distribution and use of radio frequency in Pridnestrovie and Moldova.

Today Acting Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev received the delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Finland in Romania and the Republic of Moldova headed by Ambassador Päivi Pohjanheimo, made her first visit to Pridnestrovie.

On February 2, 2016 at the initiative of the Pridnestrovian side a meeting of expert (working) groups of the sides on railway transport and communication took place in the office of the OSCE Mission in Bendery. The meeting was attended by representatives of the mediators and observers in the negotiation process.
The meeting discussed the problem situation, connected with impediments imposed by the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine to the delivery of import cargo going to the economic entities of Pridnestrovie by railway from Ukraine.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR informs about the fact of unjustified detention and thorough personal search of a Pridnestrovian official in Kishinev airport.
So, on December 20, 2015 upon returning from Moscow Co-Chairman of the Joint Control Commission from Pridnestrovie Oleg Belyakov was detained in Kishinev airport by Moldova’s border agencies for additional control measures with the so-called “view to determining whether the admittance of the Pridnestrovian representative to Moldova is possible”.
