Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev sent congratulations to Head of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov on the occasion of the Day of Diplomatic Worker.
In his welcoming address, the Acting Minister stressed that Russian diplomacy has always played a crucial role in protecting the national interests of the country, preserving and strengthening the stability of the system of international relations. “Patriotism, initiative inherent in Russian diplomats, readiness to conscientious, professional and creative fulfillment of their duties make a significant contribution to the formation of a positive image and enhancement of the prestige of the Russian Federation on the world stage,” - said Vitaly Ignatiev.
The Foreign Minister stressed that the Russian Federation is the main strategic partner of the republic at all stages of its development. “The effectiveness of the measures taken by Russia to provide social and economic support for the population of Pridnestrovie, consistency in maintaining peace and security in Pridnestrovie are largely provided by the fruitful work of Russian diplomats. I am convinced that under your leadership the practical efforts will continue to contribute to a productive bilateral cooperation on a wide range of areas,” - concluded the diplomat in his congratulatory message.
