The Russian delegation is paying official mission visit to Pridnestrovie. It is headed by Vitaly Tryapitsyn, the Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, who represents Russia in the Pridnestrovian-Moldovan negotiation process. In this capacity, the Russian diplomat is visiting the republic for the first time, but in general, his visits to Pridnestrovie, as well as participation in the negotiations, are of a systemic nature.
A videoconference meeting of expert (working) groups on health took place today. With the participation of representatives of the World Health Organization, the parties discussed practical interaction in the framework of vaccinating Pridnestrovian citizens against COVID-19.

The Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry hosted the meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR and Vitaly Yankovsky, the Head of the Official Representative Office of the Republic of South Ossetia in the PMR.
The Pridnestrovian Ministry of Foreign Affairs keeps receiving information that on the Ukrainian-Pridnestrovian border, at the Kuchurgany check point, the Republic of Moldova’s border officials are spreading rumors that allegedly, starting from March 15, current year, the movement of Pridnestrovian vehicles, except from those possessing neutral plates, will be limited.
The meeting of the Head of the Pridnestrovian State Vadim Krasnoselsky with the OSCE delegation took place at the site of the Pridnestrovian President’s Administration. Vadim Krasnoselsky and the Pridnestrovian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vitaly Ignatiev represented the receiving party. The Foreign Ministry hosted the meeting of Vitaly Ignatiev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR with Thomas Mayr-Harting, Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office. Anna Lyberg, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Moldova and the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Klaus Neukirch attended the meeting as well.
For three days, January 20-22, 2021, representatives of the TMR authorities took part in an online training on capacity building in the field of Human Rights standards.
The UN Office arranged the event for members of the Working Group created by the President of the PMR’s order and aimed at developing a comprehensive document defining the legal regulation vector of the legal framework in the field of Human Rights in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
A video conference format dialogue was held at the level Expert (Working) Groups on Healthcare issues. The only issue on the agenda of the meeting was cooperation organization aimed at vaccinating the population against COVID-19.
The parties discussed certain aspects related to the expected vaccine receipt, its storage and use, as well as informing the population about vaccination’s usefulness.
Today, the Pridnestrovian side initiated a video conference meeting of Expert (Working) Groups on customs.
Just as within previous meetings, the key issue for discussion was seizure of a number of goods that belong to commercial Pridnestrovian entities. The Pridnestrovian side called for eliminating the unjustified practice when obstructing road and rail transportation of goods (including excisable ones) for domestic consumption to Pridnestrovie.
