The Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry hosted the meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR and Vitaly Yankovsky, the Head of the Official Representative Office of the Republic of South Ossetia in the PMR.
Meeting the guest, Vitaly Ignatiev noted that cooperation between Pridnestrovie and the South Ossetia traditionally holds a systemic and active character. In turn, Vitaly Yankovsky, positively assessed the high development dynamics in the las year, notwithstanding the COVID-19 pandemic and separately expressed gratitude for the provided possibility to arrange, at the Foreign Ministry site, the Commemoration Ceremony for Victims of Ossetian People Genocide dated 1918-1920.
During the discussion, diplomats discussed in details plans of bilateral cooperation for 2021. In this context, interlocutors touched upon prospective joint projects realization within the humanitarian-cultural field, including holding the next stage of the International Drawing Competition. The parties paid special attention to some of the relevant issues of the Pridnestrovian Official Representative Office functioning in the Republic of Ossetia.
Ending the meeting, diplomats agreed to continue regular working dialogue on the whole spectrum of cooperation between the two states.
