For three days, January 20-22, 2021, representatives of the TMR authorities took part in an online training on capacity building in the field of Human Rights standards.
The UN Office arranged the event for members of the Working Group created by the President of the PMR’s order and aimed at developing a comprehensive document defining the legal regulation vector of the legal framework in the field of Human Rights in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
During the training, a wide range of issues was raised: participants got acquainted with basic principles and concepts of Human Rights, with mechanisms for their monitoring and with examples of effective government programs on Human Rights.
This videoconference was the first one in a series of events that will be held within the framework of the mentioned program document preparation; the participants paid special attention to roadmap and further joint steps discussion.
