The IV Pridnestrovian Investment and Economic Forum has been launched today in the Dvorets Respubliki (State Cultural Center) in Tiraspol. The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce of the PMR and the Ministry of Economic Development of the PMR, with the support of the Government of the PMR.
Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and Co-Chairman of the Joint Control Commission from Pridnestrovie Oleg Belyakov met with Assistant to Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Special Representative of the Russian President for Pridnestrovie D. Rogozin Dmitry Loskutov in the capital of the Russian Federation.
Today, a working meeting of Pridnestrovie and Moldova’s experts on termination of criminal cases took place at the OSCE Mission office in Bendery at the Pridnestrovian side’s initiative.
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and Co-Chairman of the Joint Control Commission from Pridnestrovie Oleg Belyakov had a working meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation with Director of the Second CIS Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Andrei Rudenko and Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Gubarev. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Director of the Second CIS Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Vitaly Tryapitsyn.
As previously reported by the Press Service of the PMR's MFA, a meeting of representatives on political issues from Pridnestrovie and Moldova was held on May 5, during which it was agreed to hold a meeting of expert (working) groups on education in the presence of representatives on political issues that week. They also discussed prospects for organizing a number of other meetings at the level of specialized expert (working) groups that week and the week after.
A regular meeting of the Public Expert Council under the PMR’s MFA was held today at the Foreign Ministry. The Council was attended by Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev.

The meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Dmitry Palamarchuk and Deputy Head of the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Moldova Neil Martin took place at the PMR's MFA. The meeting was also attended by Regional Conflict Adviser at British Embassy in Ukraine Patrick Tobin.
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev met with the OSCE delegation headed by Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Cord Hinrich Meier-Klodt at the PMR's MFA. Taking part in the meeting was Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Michael Scanlan.
