The Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry informs that the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky and Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Pavel Filip signed (without meeting) Additional Protocol to the Protocol Decision “On the principles of resumption of a full-scale freight railway communication through the territory of Pridnestrovie” of 30 March 2012. In accordance with this document the Protocol Decision was extended until the end of the coming year.
The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting between Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to the Republic of Moldova Christine Freilinger.
The Foreign Ministry of Pridnestrovie hosted a meeting between Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and a delegation of the Federal Republic of Germany, headed by Martin Neumeyer, the Integration Commissioner for the Bavarian State Government. The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to the Republic of Moldova Ulrike Maria Knots.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pridnestrovie has taken note of the Statement of the Ministerial Council of the OSCE participating States concerning the negotiations on the Pridnestrovian settlement, adopted in Hamburg on 8-9 December 2016.
We consider another declaration of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the OSCE participating States as an abstract document, which has no direct relation to the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova.
