Today Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev sent to Head of the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia Vyacheslav Chirikba congratulations on the 23th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the Republic of Abkhazia.

President Yevgeny Shevchuk received Acting Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev and Director of the state unitary enterprise “Pridnestrovian Railway” Oleg Kulbikov. The meeting focused on issues related to the change in the scheme of movement of goods imported to Pridnestrovie by railway.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR draws the attention of the residents of Pridnestrovie to the possible aggravation of the political situation in the neighbouring Republic of Moldova, as well as to the expected increase in protest activity in Kishinev.

In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR recommends the citizens of Pridnestrovie in order to avoid possible incidents to refrain from traveling to the Republic of Moldova, as well as to participate in any public events related to the socio-political processes in Moldova.
