Today the PMR’s President received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USA to the RM James Pettit. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Dmitry Palamarchuk. The dialogue was initiated by the American side.

On February 2, 2016 at the initiative of the Pridnestrovian side a meeting of expert (working) groups of the sides on railway transport and communication took place in the office of the OSCE Mission in Bendery. The meeting was attended by representatives of the mediators and observers in the negotiation process.

The meeting discussed the problem situation, connected with impediments imposed by the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine to the delivery of import cargo going to the economic entities of Pridnestrovie by railway from Ukraine.

Today, on February 2, in the framework of a working visit to the capital of the Russian Federation Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev met with Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Gubarev and Deputy Director of the Second Department of the CIS of the Foreign Ministry of Russia Vitaly Tryapitsyn.
