A meeting of Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev with a delegation of the World Bank Group, led by Head of the World Bank Group’s Global Practice Department for Social Development, Europe and Central Asia region Nina Bhatt took place at the Foreign Ministry of the PMR.
Ambassador-at-Large of the Foreign Ministry of Russia Sergey Gubarev paid an official visit to Pridnestrovie. The Russian delegation also included Deputy Director of the Second Department of the CIS of the Russian Foreign Ministry Vitaly Tryapitsyn. Russian diplomats were received by President Yevgeny Shevchuk. The meeting was also attended by acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev.
President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk met with the OSCE delegation headed by Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Ambassador Cord Hinrich Meier-Klodt. We remind that in 2016 Germany will chair the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. Taking part in the meeting was also acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev.
Today head of the Foreign Ministry of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev received a delegation of the Russian Federation headed by Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Gubarev. Speaking to journalists the German diplomat outlined the intensification of negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova as his first priority in order to achieve positive results on the most topical issues of bilateral relations.

Head of State Yevgeny Shevchuk is on a working visit to the Russian Federation. The President of Pridnestrovie met with Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government, Special Representative of the Russian President on Pridnestrovie Dmitry Rogozin in Moscow. The dialogue discussed the socio-economic situation in Pridnestrovie, taking into account the impact of the regional economic crisis.
The meeting was held within the framework of maintaining regular working contacts.
In an interview with the hosts Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR touched upon the issues on external pressure put on Pridnestrovie, as well as the current situation in the negotiation process with the Republic of Moldova.
