Vitaly Ignatiev reported to the president on the results of the visit to the Russian capital. The head of the Foreign Ministry of the republic made an official working visit to Moscow. Thus, a number of meetings were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Administration of the Russian President and the Russian Government.

After a long break, a meeting of expert (working) groups from Pridnestrovie and Moldova on regulatory and document support of citizens was held on April 2016.

During the meeting the sides discussed a wide range of topical issues of concern connected first of all with the transferring and processing of personal data of citizens. In this context, Pridnestrovie and Moldova’s experts discussed the possibility to work on the mechanism of interaction between specialized services involved in vital records registration.

The press service of the PMR Foreign Ministry was surprised to read unweighted statements of the RM Government member Irene Vlach published in Moldovan media concerning the ongoing negotiation process between Moldova and Pridnestrovie.

“The view is widely held in Russia that the Pridnestrovian conflict is frozen, the situation does not change, there's no hurry. In fact, the situation is rapidly regressing, Moldavia and Ukraine are actively drifting toward the West, while dealing a blow by blow to Pridnestrovie, head of the Foreign Ministry of Pridnestrovie Vitaly Ignatiev told about it to the VZGLYAD newspaper (the “View”). According to him, such actions fit into the logic of “hybrid wars”.

Acting Foreign Minister of Pridnestrovie Vitaly Ignatiev held a meeting with Director of the Russian Institute of Strategic Studies Leonid Reshetnikov, while on a working visit to Moscow.

The meeting exchanged views on the current international political situation around Pridnestrovie. The two sides discussed in detail the current state of the settlement process in the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian relations through the prism of measures of pressure unilaterally taken by Kishinev against Pridnestrovie.

​Today, while on a working visit to the Russian capital, Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev met with Assistant to Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Special Representative of the Russian President for Pridnestrovie D. Rogozin Dmitry Loskutov. Taking part in the meeting was also Director General of the Scientific Industrial CJSC “Elektromash” Vladimir Trandasir.

Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Dmitry Palamarchuk gave an interview to a German documentary film-maker Steffi Wurster today; she visited Tiraspol within the framework of making a documentary film about the peacekeeping mission on the Dniester “Post No. 6 - The three sides of the river”.

Head of the Foreign Ministry of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic V. Ignatiev held a meeting with State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation G. Karasin in the framework of his working visit to the Russian Federation on April 12, 2016. The meeting was also attended by Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Gubarev and Deputy Director of the Second Department of the CIS of the Russian Foreign Ministry Vitaly Tryapitsyn.

The Foreign Ministry held a meeting with European Union representatives, led by Head of the European Commission’s Directorate General Department for Trade Petros Sourmelis. From the European side the meeting was also attended by Head of the EU Delegation in Moldova Pirkka Tapiola. From the Pridnestrovian side - acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and Economic Development Minister of the PMR Dmitry Boltrushko.
