Today, while on a working visit to the Russian capital, Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev met with Assistant to Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Special Representative of the Russian President for Pridnestrovie D. Rogozin Dmitry Loskutov. Taking part in the meeting was also Director General of the Scientific Industrial CJSC “Elektromash” Vladimir Trandasir.
The two sides discussed in detail a number of practical initiatives aimed at boosting exports from Pridnestrovie to the Russian Federation. A substantive plan of action was mapped out to establish additional mechanisms to enhance the delivery of Pridnestrovian goods to the Russian market, including in the framework of the interdepartmental memoranda already signed and to be signed, as well as through the strengthening of cooperation at the municipal level.
Special attention was paid to discussing the international situation developing around Pridnestrovie and inside the country. Vitaly Ignatiev also informed Dmitry Loskutov about the current situation in the ongoing negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova.
