Acting Foreign Minister of Pridnestrovie Vitaly Ignatiev held a meeting with Director of the Russian Institute of Strategic Studies Leonid Reshetnikov, while on a working visit to Moscow.
The meeting exchanged views on the current international political situation around Pridnestrovie. The two sides discussed in detail the current state of the settlement process in the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian relations through the prism of measures of pressure unilaterally taken by Kishinev against Pridnestrovie.
Special attention was paid to the bilateral agenda, including the areas of development of scientific and expert cooperation. In particular, during the meeting Vitaly Ignatiev and Leonid Reshetnikov discussed the parameters of organization a series of workshops and webinars with the participation of leading Russian experts in Pridnestrovie. In this context, the head of the Foreign Ministry highly appreciated the efforts made by the RISS Dniester-Prut Center in enhancing cultural, humanitarian, and educational cooperation between Russia and Pridnestrovie.
Within the framework of the visit at the invitation of chief editor of the RISS-TV Aleksandr Krutov Vitaly Ignatiev also took part in recording of TV programme dedicated to topical issues of Pridnestrovie's foreign policy in the context of contemporary challenges and threats.
