Today Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR saw a meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and the representatives of foreign non-governmental organizations – Crisis Management Initiative (CMI) headed by advisor to CMI\'s Black Sea and Central Asia projects Denis Matveev and European Integration Strategy Association (EISA) headed by the President Rainder Steenblock.
On June 12, 2012, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR hosted the first round of already traditional working consultations of foreign political offices of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the Republic of Abkhazia.
Today, on the platform of Pridnestrovian foreign office, the founding conference of the Council of Young Diplomats was held. Participating in the meeting were Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Nina Shtanski, Deputy Minister Vitaly Ignatiev, head of Department for CIS Countries, the PMR, the RSO, the NKR and Georgia of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia Irakly Tujba, Deputy head of Consular Service of MFA of the Republic of Abkhazia Lasha Avidzba and young officers of the office and senior students who acquire corresponding profession at T.G. Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University.
On June 12, 2012 solemn event took place on Memorial of Memory and Sorrow in Bendery City devoted to inauguration of the monument to Russian political and military leader Lieutenant General Alexander Ivanovich Lebed.
Today, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian MFA Sergey Gubarev and Minister Counselor of the Russian Embassy in Moldova Vitaly Tryapitsyn paid a working visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR.
“Pridnestrovian Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs support the aspirations of the leadership of Pridnestrovie and of foreign office of the Republic in direction of strategic course of recognition of independence of the Republic, voiced by Pridnestrovian people during the Referendum of September 17, 2006,” reads the appeal, sent to the PMR’s MFA by Pridnestrovian Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs (SPAPP).
As it was reported earlier, on April 26, 2012, a report of the Deutsche Welle called “Transnistria – Europe’s Hotbed of Smuggling” was placed on the popular YouTube video hosting site.
Today Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Nina Shtanski held a meeting with the political representative of the EU in ‘5+2’ negotiation process Gunnar Wiegand.
