On January 17, 2012, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR and Special Representative of the President for the Negotiation Process, Interaction with Diplomatic Missions and International Organizations Nina Shtanski held the meeting with Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe Thomas Hammarberg.
On January 10, 2012, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vladimir Yastrebchak received in Tiraspol Miroslav Lajcak, Managing Director of the EU External Action Service for Europe and Central Asia, and Dirk Shuebel, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Moldova.
In connection with the tragic incident which took place in the Security Zone on January 1, 2012, PMR’s MFA extends its sincere condolences to the man’s family and relatives and empathizes with the tragic loss.
