Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev had a meeting with Ukrainian journalists in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR who have visited Pridnestrovie within the framework of a three-day press tour.
The regular meeting of expert (working) groups on telecommunications and postal service was held in the office of the OSCE Mission in Tiraspol on August 5, 2015.

Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nina Shtanski sent congratulations to Senior Military Commander of the Russian Contingent of the Peacekeeping Forces Valery Blizhensky on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the deployment of the peacekeeping forces of the Russian Federation in Pridnestrovie.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR reports that a member of the Pridnestrovian Interior Ministry staff M.G. Kuzmichev was arrested by competent bodies of the Hellenic Republic by the instruction of the Republic of Moldova at the airport in Athens on Monday, July 20, 2015.

On July 21, 2015 this year’s first meeting of the expert (working) groups on regulatory and document support of citizens from the Republic of Moldova and Pridnestrovie was held in the office of the OSCE Mission in Moldova.
Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Igor Shornikov had a meeting in the MFA of the PMR with Head of the Regional delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Russia, Belarus and Moldova Pascal Cuttat.
The meeting discussed the developing situation around the republic, as well as exchanged views on prospects for the International Red Cross’s work in Pridnestrovie.
The sides expressed hope for further constructive cooperation in areas of common interest.
The President is in the Russian capital on a working visit. Yevgeny Shevchuk met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin in Moscow.
During the meeting they discussed issues related with the increasing risks to the economy of Pridnestrovie under regional economic instability and other artificial factors blocking Pridnestrovian economic potential.

Today, the Pridnestrovian State University held a round table discussion on “Pridnestrovie is a sacred territory of Eurasia”. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Igor Shornikov, Director of Moscow Lev Gumilyov Centre Pavel Zarifullin, Pridnestrovian experts-historian, archaeologists and students of the university took part in the meeting.
President Yevgeny Shevchuk received a delegation of the OSCE headed by Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ambassador Radojko Bogojević. Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation – Foreign Minister of the PMR Nina Shtanski also participated in the meeting.
The Foreign Ministry of Pridnestrovie got acquainted with curiousity with some statements of Representative on Political Issues of the Republic of MoldovaVictor Osipov, this time voiced during an interview to the Kommersant newpaper. The PMR's MFA does not find it possible to comment on a number of openly unfriendly and untruthful theses of the interview, but it cannot but responds to, apparently, intentional delusion of the Moldovan negotiator, which gets obsessive features and indicates the lack of respectful attitude to the realities of the ongoing negotiation process.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a meeting of Deputy Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev with a delegation of UNDP. The event was attended by Manager of the UNDP project “Development of business and employment promotion” Victor Dragutan and UNDP Consultant on Business Cooperation and Economic Development Georgeta Mincu. The meeting was also attended by Chairman of the Coordination Council on Technical Assistance of the PMR Galina Sandutsa.
President Yevgeny Shevchuk took part in a solemn event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of establishment of the Operational Group of Russian Troops in Pridnestrovie. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Moldova Farit Mukhametshin also arrived to congratulate the leadership of the OGRT, officers and soldiers.
In connection with news reports in Moldovan media affirming the alleged threats on the part of Pridnestrovie to introduce a visa regime for Moldovan citizens, to restrict the transit of goods, to introduce duty of 100 percent on products of the RM and so on, the Press Service of the MFA of the PMR informs the following.
The solemn ceremony of transferring the costume of Turkish janissaries and the genuine flag of the Ottoman Empire to the fortress museum took place on the territory of the Historical Military and Memorial Complex “Bendery Fortress” today.
