The Foreign Ministry held the first media briefing of acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev as a Political Representative of Pridnestrovie in the negotiation process.
The journalists were interested in the current situation in the relations with the Republic of Moldova, as well as the characteristics of the current stage of the negotiations in the “1+1” format. On the second of September, 1990 during the second Congress of deputies of all levels the creation of Pridnestrovie was proclaimed. And today we celebrate the 25th anniversary as the most important public holiday and glorious date.
The grand opening of the exhibition “Peers of Pridnestrovie” took place in the State Cultural Centre “Palace of the Republic” today – the project organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR and the group of initiative photographers. On September 2, on the Republic Day, the exhibition will also be visited by the high guests from Russia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Nagorno-Karabakh and other countries.
By the new school year Pridnestrovie's schools will be presented with over 500,000 textbooks
This was the main topic discussed by the republican leadership and Russia's vice premier, Dmitriy Rogozin, during a teleconference in Tiraspol's humanities and maths gymnasium.
It is recalled that by 1 September all Russian-language schools will be supplied with a complete set of latest generation textbooks, published to comply with the very latest requirements for contents, design and sanitary-hygienic standards.
