Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev had a meeting with Head of Cooperation Programmes with the Armed and Security Forces within the Regional Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross for the Russian Federation, Belarus and Moldova Oleg Bondarenko. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Defense of the PMR - Head of Department for Educational Work Nikolai Muntean and Head of the Medical Department of the Ministry of Defense of the PMR Zhanna Isayenko.
The meeting discussed the prospects of provision of expert technical and methodological assistance to the Ministry of Defense of the PMR through specialized agencies of the ICRC, in particular with regard to the study of international humanitarian law, the provision of textbooks, as well as the organization of seminars and trainings.
The sides expressed readiness to continue cooperation on topical issues of mutual interest.
