A meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev with Acting Head of the British Embassy to Moldova Neil Martin took place in the Foreign Ministry of the PMR.
Welcoming the guests the Pridnestrovian diplomat noted the high level of bilateral relations existing between Pridnestrovie and the British side in terms of humanitarian projects, cultural and educational initiatives. Vitaly Ignatiev also thanked the guests for their continued interest in the country. ‘We welcome the commitment of the British side to maintain direct bilateral contacts and receive information on the current situation at first hand,’ the diplomat said.
During the meeting representatives of the British Embassy informed about the project initiatives planned for implementation in the near future. In addition, the sides discussed a number of topical issues of mutual interest.
At the end of the meeting Vitaly Ignatiev expressed hope for further constructive interaction with the British side.
