Today, the Foreign Ministries of friendly countries - the Republic of Abkhazia and South Ossetia - sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR notes on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the Bendery tragedy.
Abkhazian diplomats expressed sympathy to Pridnestrovians. The note of the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia reads: “We are sure that this day will remain forever in the memory of the people of Pridnestrovie. We grieve with you”
A meeting with the delegation of the “Crisis Management Initiative” (CMI) was held by Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev. Taking part in the meeting at the MFA of the PMR were Roxana Cristescu, the Head of CMI's Programme in Eastern Europe & Caucasus, as well as Programme Advisers Denis Matveev and Jale Sultanli.
The representatives of the organization described the activities of CMI on the track of the Moldova-Pridnestrovie settlement, and also informed of a number of planned activities.
Today, a meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Igor Shornikov and representatives of the Confederation of Independent Football Associations (ConIFA) was held in the MFA of PMR. The meeting was attended by delegates of the organization Sascha Düerkop and Jens Jockel, Deputy Head of the State Service for Sports of the PMR Vasily Utin, Head of the Mass Sports Department of the State Service for Sports of the PMR Oleg Dubrovin.

Today Deputy Prime Minister for International Cooperation, Foreign Minister of the PMR Nina Shtanski sent congratulations to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Lavrov on the state holiday - Russia Day.

On June 2, 2015 Moscow hosted an International Conference on Life under sanctions: international experience. The event was organized by the Faculty of Economics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University and the CIS Institute.
A regular meeting of the Public Expert Council was held in the MFA of the PMR. The meeting was attended by the leaders and members of public associations, representatives of scientific and artistic circles, and the PMR’s authorities. Deputies Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev and Igor Shornikov, RISS Deputy Director Tamara Guzenkova participated in the meeting.
Today, on the initiative of the Pridnestrovian side Foreign Ministry of the PMR hosted the meeting between Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation, Foreign Minister Nina Shtanski and Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Moldova Pirkka Tapiola.
The discussion focused on the current economic situation in Pridnestrovie, promptly deteriorating in the context of increasing pressure by Moldova and Ukraine. The sides discussed prospects for the future economic interaction of Pridnestrovie and the European Union.

Today on the Child Protection Day three new kindergartens were ceremonially opened in Pridnestrovie - “Kapitoshka” in Tiraspol, “Volshebnaya Romashka” (Magic Daisy) in Bendery and “Kolosok” (Spikelet) in Sukleia built within the Russian Federation socio-humanitarian programme ANO “Eurasian Integration”.

Yesterday, on May 21, 2015, the director of the Dniester-Prut Centre of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies was detained at the airport in Kishinev and then deported to the Russian Federation.
