A Czech delegation arrived in Tiraspol on a working visit. The diplomats were received by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Moldova Stanislav Kázecký was accompanied by his Deputy, Counselor for Political and Consular Affairs Martin Čech. The Pridnestrovian side was also represented at the meeting by Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev.
Vadim Krasnoselsky held a meeting with Oleg Vasnetsov, Russian Ambassador to Moldova. The discussion took place in the working office of the PMR President. The PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev also attended the discussion.
A group of employees of the PMR Foreign Ministry took a professional development course at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation. The training of Pridnestrovian diplomats in one of the leading Russian and world universities was carried out within the framework of a special program, financed by one of the Russian funds.
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Ministry of Social Security and Demographic Policy of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Ministry of Health of the PMR and the Ministry of Social Protection and Labor of the PMR held the signing ceremony of the Memorandum on Cooperation in Healthcare, Social Development and Social Protection was held in the online format. The event was attended by relevant ministers Kristina Albul, Elena Kulichenko, and Alexander Vataman, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the PMR.
On December 2 at the OSCE Mission office in Chisinau, political representatives from Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova, Vitaly Ignatiev and Oleg Serebrian, met in the presence of representatives of mediators and observers in the negotiation process.
PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky met with representatives of the U.S. Embassy in the office of the Pridnestrovian head of state. The delegation arrived in Tiraspol and was headed by U.S. Ambassador to Moldova Kent D. Logsdon. From the Pridnestrovian side PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev also joined the discussion.
The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting of Deputy Foreign Minister Alexandr Stetsiuk with a delegation of the United Nations, headed by Peace and Development Adviser Kristin Jenssen.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the current situation in the energy sector, as well as possible development scenarios and prevention of humanitarian crises in Pridnestrovie. At the same time, Alexandr Stetsiuk spoke in detail about the current state of affairs in the negotiation process and the difficulties that the republic has encountered this year, especially in the sector of imports.
On the evening of 23 November this year, the Moldovan side took discriminatory measures to limit the departure of the Political Representative of Pridnestrovie to the Russian Federation in transit through Chisinau airport.
With regard to the speculative claims by the office of the political representative of the Republic of Moldova, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs points out the following.
Chisinau’s reaction is a futile attempt to justify its own clearly inadequate and extremely dangerous activities that threaten to turn into a deep crisis on a broad regional scale. However, the Pridnestrovian side is used to basing itself on truth and facts, against which the Moldovan version of events seems to be a trivial attempt to put the blame on others.
The Pridnestrovian President met with the Head of the OSCE Mission to the Republic of Moldova. Vadim Krasnoselsky and Kelly Keiderling discussed relations between Tiraspol and Chisinau. Negotiations are currently frozen for various reasons. The sides now need a platform for communication, the President believes.
“I still come to the conclusion that it is possible to resume the meetings of the 5+2 Permanent Conference, if one is willing to do so. In any case, if official meetings cannot be held, we can hold informal meetings and consultations,” Vadim Krasnoselsky said.
