The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting of Deputy Foreign Minister Alexandr Stetsiuk with a delegation of the United Nations, headed by Peace and Development Adviser Kristin Jenssen.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the current situation in the energy sector, as well as possible development scenarios and prevention of humanitarian crises in Pridnestrovie. At the same time, Alexandr Stetsiuk spoke in detail about the current state of affairs in the negotiation process and the difficulties that the republic has encountered this year, especially in the sector of imports.
The interlocutors touched on certain aspects of UN project activities.
Recall that on November 22, President Vadim Krasnoselsky and the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR sent an appeal to the UN with a request to prevent a humanitarian disaster in the republic.
