A group of employees of the PMR Foreign Ministry took a professional development course at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation. The training of Pridnestrovian diplomats in one of the leading Russian and world universities was carried out within the framework of a special program, financed by one of the Russian funds.
The program of the intensive one-week International Relations professional development course included 40 academic hours of lectures by leading MGIMO professors on such topics as conflict resolution, regional and international security, integration processes in the Eurasian region, energy diplomacy and energy security, etc.
While in the Russian capital, Foreign Ministry members visited the Official Representation of the PMR in Moscow and discussed with its Head Leonid Manakov certain aspects of the functioning of the diplomatic mission and issues of protection of the rights and interests of Pridnestrovian compatriots residing abroad.
The PMR Foreign Ministry delegation also met at the Abkhazian Embassy with Madina Avidzba, Charge d’Affaires of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Russian Federation.
