The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Ministry of Social Security and Demographic Policy of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Ministry of Health of the PMR and the Ministry of Social Protection and Labor of the PMR held the signing ceremony of the Memorandum on Cooperation in Healthcare, Social Development and Social Protection was held in the online format. The event was attended by relevant ministers Kristina Albul, Elena Kulichenko, and Alexander Vataman, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the PMR.
Greeting the Abkhaz side, the Minister of Social Protection of the PMR noted that the signing of the document is significant for our republic.
“We will be very happy to see our cooperation in the sphere of prosthetic care for citizens, disabled PMR defenders move to the possibilities of sanatorium treatment, other means of rehabilitation of our citizens,” said Elena Kulichenko.
Kristina Albul, PMR Health Minister, also thanked her colleagues for the opportunity to provide Pridnestrovians with medical care in the form of prosthetics and expressed the hope that cooperation with the Health Ministry of Abkhazia will develop in other areas as well.
According to the Memorandum, the Sides intend to cooperate on a wide range of issues. These include the exchange of scientific and technical information and experience, as well as carrying out activities in the field of healthcare, social development and social protection. In addition, within the framework of the signed document, it is planned to organize recovery treatment, rehabilitation, sanatorium-resort, prosthetic and prosthetic-orthopedic care for the citizens of Pridnestrovie and Abkhazia.
