The President of Pridnestrovie and the State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation commented on the results of the meeting held today on March 29 in Tiraspol. Yevgeny Shevchuk and Grigory Karasin answered journalists' questions.

​President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk met with the delegation of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation, headed by State Secretary - Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Grigory Karasin. They discussed topical issues in the Russian-Pridnestrovian cooperation in various areas. It was about the implementation of a number of social and humanitarian projects in Pridnestrovie by the Russian Federation. Attention was paid to the aspects of Pridnestrovie – Moldova negotiation process.

Today, on March 29, 2016, the office of the OSCE Mission in Kishinev hosted this year’s first meeting of the expert (working) groups on customs cooperation. The meeting was attended by representatives of the mediators and observers in the negotiation process.

At the initiative of the Moldovan side the meeting exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation in providing mutual statistical information on the ongoing foreign economic activity, including mutual trade between Pridnestrovie and Moldova.
