Today, State Secretary - Deputy Foreign Minister of the RF Grigory Karasin, who is on a visit to Pridnestrovie, after he had met with President of the PMR Yevgeny Shevchuk and Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky, visited the on-site point of the consular service of the Russian Embassy located in Tiraspol. The diplomat was accompanied by Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Moldova Farit Mukhametshin.
Grigory Karasin and Vitaly Ignatiev discussed some elements of the ongoing negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova, as well as aspects of the Russian-Pridnestrovian cooperation. The sides agreed to continue contacts, as well as to hold a personal meeting in Moscow in the near future.
