President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk met with the OSCE delegation headed by Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Ambassador Cord Hinrich Meier-Klodt. We remind that in 2016 Germany will chair the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. Taking part in the meeting was also acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev.
Today head of the Foreign Ministry of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev received a delegation of the Russian Federation headed by Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Gubarev. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Director of the Second Department of the CIS of the Russian Foreign Ministry Vitaly Tryapitsyn, Advisor to the Foreign Minister of the RF on peacekeeping missions Marat Kulakhmetov and Co-Chairman of the Joint Control Commission from Russia Yevgeny Vereshchaga.

Speaking to journalists the German diplomat outlined the intensification of negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova as his first priority in order to achieve positive results on the most topical issues of bilateral relations.

Head of State Yevgeny Shevchuk is on a working visit to the Russian Federation. The President of Pridnestrovie met with Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government, Special Representative of the Russian President on Pridnestrovie Dmitry Rogozin in Moscow. The dialogue discussed the socio-economic situation in Pridnestrovie, taking into account the impact of the regional economic crisis.
The meeting was held within the framework of maintaining regular working contacts.
In an interview with the hosts Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR touched upon the issues on external pressure put on Pridnestrovie, as well as the current situation in the negotiation process with the Republic of Moldova.
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR told about it during his speech at the expanded session of the reporting collegium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR, arranged to coincide with the celebration of the Day of the Worker of the Diplomatic Service.
President Yevgeny Shevchuk took part in the expanded session of the collegium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR. The meeting summed up the results of activities of the Foreign Ministry for 2015, as well as defined goals and objectives for the near future.
During his speech the head of state made a positive assessment of the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Yevgeny Shevchuk also congratulated the Pridnestrovian diplomats and veterans of the department on their professional holiday.
The small hall of the Dvorets Respubliki in Tiraspol hosted the session of the expanded Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry Collegium during which three publications having seen the light of day in 2016 were presented. They were: information analytical journal of the MFA of the PMR “Diplomatic bulletin of Pridnestrovie” No.14, collection of articles “Eurasian Pridnestrovie.
