International conference on wider confidence building measures in the process of Moldova-Pridnestrovie settlement, held on September 8-9 in Bad Reichenhall, Germany, became a good opportunity for Pridnestrovie to make its’ position clear for foreign partners of the republic.
Today the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR sent condolences to the Russian Embassy in Moldova in connection with the loss of hockey players of Yaroslavl sports club “Locomotive” and crew of “Yak-42” plane.
On September 3-4, Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Alexander Malyarchuk held meetings with representatives of foreign delegations which had arrived in Pridnestrovie to participate in the festivities dedicated to the 21st anniversary of the formation of the PMR.

On September 2, 2011, Pridnestrovie marks the 21st anniversary since creation of the Pridnestrovien Moldavian Republic. Solemn events in Tiraspol began with laying of flowers and wreaths at the Glory Memorial by the Pridnestrovien leadership and delegations from Russia, Ukraine, Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Nagorniy Karabakh, and raising of the National Flag of the Pridnestrovien Moldavian Republic in the central square of Tiraspol.
Delegation of the Pridnestrovien Moldavian Republic headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Yastrebchak participates in solemn events, dedicated to the 20th Anniversary of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh.
On September 1, PMR’s Deputy Foreign Minister Vitaliy Ignatiev received Deputy Director of the CIS Institute (CISI) on regional security and military cooperation Ildar Safargaleev.
Today, in Tiraspol, President of Pridnestrovie Igor Smirnov held press-conference for representatives of local and foreign mass media, dedicated to the 21st anniversary of the formation of the PMR.
