Delegation of the Pridnestrovien Moldavian Republic headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Yastrebchak participates in solemn events, dedicated to the 20th Anniversary of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh.
Today, by order of President of the PMR Vladimir Yastrebchak congratulated President of Nagorno-Karabakh Bako Saakyan with the jubilee of the republic and presented him with testimonial on behalf of Igor Smirnov.
“20th Anniversary of statehood is particular border for the people, who were among the originators of the creation of the republic. During this period whole generation of new citizens of free and independent Nagorny Karabakh was born and grew up in this country. They do not imagine living in other conditions. And it, of itself, guarantees the durability of state and public institutions and further independent development of Artsah,” is stated in presidential testimonial.
It particularly runs that Pridnestrovie has for all these years followed the struggle of Artsahs with particular attention and sense of solidarity. “We feel affinity with the ideals and aspirations of people of Nagorny Karabakh, we understand the aims of this struggle. Despite the distance, we are brought together by belief in the power of people's unity, in victory of good over evil. Our nations have similar historical lots and, undoubtedly, common future,” is marked in the letter.
During the meeting Vladimir Yastrebchak marked high significance of friendship and constructive interaction, settled between Nagorny Kahabakh and Pridnestrovie. Diplomat expressed confidence that fruitful cooperation of the two states will successfully develop in future.
