On September 3-4, Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Alexander Malyarchuk held meetings with representatives of foreign delegations which had arrived in Pridnestrovie to participate in the festivities dedicated to the 21st anniversary of the formation of the PMR. Among them – official delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia headed by deputy of the People's Assembly of the RoA Pavel Leshchuk; official delegation of the Republic of South Ossetia headed by deputy of the RSO Parliament, chairperson of the Writers' Union of South Ossetia Meliton Kaziev; official delegation of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic headed by deputy of the People's Assembly of the RNK, director of RNK State Archive Vardges Ulubabyan. Deputy head of the foreign office of Pridnestrovie also met with the delegation of Ukraine's Association of Warriors-Internationalists “Cubans” headed by its chairperson, retired Colonel-General Mikhail Lopatin. Foreign guests congratulated leadership of the PMR's MFA with Republic's Day noting that cohesion, stamina and courage of the Pridnestroviens, which made it possible for them to defend their free choice, allow the country over a number of years to successfully cope with the most difficult trial. The participants of the meetings discussed a wide range of matters of mutual interest. In particular, there was exchange of views on the political situation which develops today on the Dniester, as well as on the processes taking place in the Caucasus region. Special attention was given to the prospects for cooperation development between Pridnestrovie and South Ossetia, Abkhazia and Nagorny Karabakh.
