PMR\'s MFA Extends Condolences to the Russian Embassy in Connection with the Loss of “Locomotive” Hockey Players and “Yak-42” Crew

Today the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR sent condolences to the Russian Embassy in Moldova in connection with the loss of hockey players of Yaroslavl sports club “Locomotive” and crew of “Yak-42” plane.

“With deep sorrow took Pridnestrovie the news of the tragedy which occurred on September 7 as a result of the air crash of “Yak-42” in Yaroslavl region,” reads the message of condolence of the PMR's MFA. “The life of gifted young sportsmen cut short in their prime. There in no more one of country's best hockey teams. The death of the “Locomotive” sportsmen is a grievous loss to Russian hockey, to all Russian people.

This tragedy is our common pain. In this time of grief the Pridnestrovien people empathize with the people of Russia and present their sincere condolences to the families and friends of the dead and injured. May our feeling of deep compassion ease the burden of loss and support the Russian nation in this mournful hour.”
