President of Pridnestrovie Yevgeny Shevchuk received the UN delegation led by the UN Resident Coordinator in the RM, Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Nicola Harrington-Buhay. Taking part in the meeting from the Pridnestrovian side was Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International cooperation, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nina Shtanski.

The IV International Business forum “Moscow Business –Dialogue of the SCO” coinciding with an annual meeting of the Council of the Heads of Government of SCO Member States was held today in Moscow. The event was attended by representatives of government officials, business community, scientific and expert organisations. Pridnestrovie was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev.

On November 18, 2014 a regular meeting of expert (working) groups of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova on telecommunications and postal service was held in the OSCE Office in Kishinev.  A central issue of the discussion between the experts was the joint use of radio frequencies in 800 MHz range by telecommunication operators of Pridnestrovie and Moldova.

Today, a round table on “Contemporary political challenges for Pridnestrovie. Social consolidation as a basis of security” took place in the office of the Republican Movement ”Recognition”. The event was attended by Co-Chairperson of the Joint Control Commission from Pridnestrovie Oleg Belyakov, Deputy Ministers of Defense of the PMR Pavel Mikhailov and Nikolay Muntyan, Deputy to the Supreme Soviet of the PMR, Chairperson of the General Council of the Republican public movement “Recognition” Vyacheslav Tobukh, and also representatives of republican non-governmental organizations and movements. Taking part in the event also was Deputy Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev.

Today, the MFA of the PMR hosted the next meeting in the framework of the press club “Uncut talk”. Taking part in the talk with Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the PMR for International Cooperation, Foreign Minister N. V. Shtanski for the first time in such format were foreign journalists from a number of known European media: ORF (Austria), Westdeutscher Rundfunk (Germany), Der Tagesspiegel (Germany), Neue Zurcher Zeitung (Switzerland), Austrian Press Agency (АРА) (Austria). The representatives of Pridnestrovian media were invited as well.
