According to information received by the Foreign Ministry of the PMR, today, at the Kishinev airport armed police officers of the Republic of Moldova detained without explanation and then deported for 15 years Radislav Sabirov, Pridnestrovie’s defender, retired Colonel of Special Rapid Deployment Force of Tatarstan. Special Forces Veteran was in Pridnestrovie on a private visit, inter alia he took part in the festivities on the City Day of Bendery.
The Foreign Ministry of Pridnestrovie hosted a meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and the OSCE delegation headed by Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Cord Hinrich Meier-Klodt. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Michael Scanlan.
President Yevgeny Shevchuk received Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev. The Foreign Minister reported on the new unilateral actions by the Republic of Moldova aimed at creating additional difficulties for the Pridnestrovian economic agents.

The PMR’s MFA hosted a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and the Council of Europe delegation headed by the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Moldova Jose Luis Herrero. The visit of the delegation consisting of CE experts in the field of education has its goal to analyze the approaches and mechanisms to ensure equal access to different languages learning and functioning of the educational system of Pridnestrovie as a whole.
On 27 September 2016 the OSCE Mission office in Bendery hosted a meeting of expert (working) groups on education involving representatives of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova.
During the meeting experts have discussed several aspects of education and also exchanged views on the current organizational and technical matters. In particular, the issue of jointly organizing of subject olympiads involving talented pupils of educational establishments of Pridnestrovie and Moldova.
On 28 September 2016 the OSCE Mission office in Bendery hosted a meeting of expert (working) groups on ecology involving representatives of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova.
The sides discussed issues related to the mechanism of execution and implementation of the June agreements in the field of hydrometeorology, as well as in the field of fisheries management and sustainable use of aquatic biological resources of the Dnester River by relevant agencies of the parties.
The Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Dmitry Palamarchuk and delegations of the UN and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden in the Republic of Moldova. The meeting was attended by Deputy Head of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden, Adam Amberg, UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in the Republic of Moldova Narine Sahakyan, as well as representatives of other UN agencies.

Moscow hosted a meeting between PMR's Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev and Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Gubarev.
In the framework of the meeting the sides exchanged views in detail on the current situation in the extended negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova. Vitaly Ignatiev drew attention to the lack of willingness of the Moldovan side to work substantively, including on the implementation of the Berlin Protocol of June 3, 2016.
PMR’s MFA hosted a meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Dmitry Palamarchuk and ad interim Deputy Head of the British Embassy in the Republic of Moldova John Mitchell.
At the meeting the sides discussed topical aspects of the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova, as well as matters of current British-Pridnestrovian cooperation. Particular emphasis was placed on the banking blockade problem of Pridnestrovie.
Today, Tskhinval hosted a meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Murat Dzhioev, where the sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation.
The diplomats congratulated each other on the signing of the updated Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership between the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the Republic of South Ossetia.
Today, 15 September 2016, OSCE Mission office in Bendery hosted a regular meeting of expert (working) groups on railway transport and communication involving representatives of customs authorities of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova.
The meeting was attended by representatives of mediators and observers in the negotiation process.
The Pridnestrovian side initiated the meeting due to continuing difficult situation with petroleum importing in Pridnestrovie.
Today, 15 September 2016, Advisor to the Director of the Foreign Policy Cooperation Center n.a. Y.M. Primakov, Advisor to the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund Yuri Zhmurko and Head of the Department of Cultural and Global Studies at BSTU “Voenmech” n.a. D.F. Ustinov, chief editor of “Geopolitics and Security” journal Igor Fedorovich Kefeli, which intended to travel to Pridnestrovie to participate in the conference, were stopped in the Kishinev Airport and deported to the Russian Federation.

On 8 September 2016 the capital of the Russian Federation hosted a meeting between the PMR Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev and Assistant to Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Special Representative of the Russian President for Pridnestrovie D. Rogozin Dmitry Loskutov.
During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation between Russia and Pridnestrovie in the socio-economic and humanitarian spheres, in particular, a series of informational projects.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Karen Mirzoyan sent congratulations to the Head of the Foreign Ministry Vitaly Ignatiev on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
In his salutary address, the head of the Nagorno-Karabakh diplomacy noted with satisfaction that the PMR has made significant progress in strengthening the sovereignty, political and social development during the years of independence.
Today, at the airport of Kishinev Moldova’s border police detained and then deported Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Oleg Nurievich Arshba travelling to Pridnestrovie at the invitation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
It should be noted that the Pridnestrovian side had informed the RM about the planned visit of the foreign guest in advance in accordance with the established procedure. However, despite this fact, the repressive measures were applied to the representative of Abkhazia.
The Head of State Yevgeny Shevchuk has appointed Vitaly Ignatiev to the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR.
“I hope that you will continue all the good that has been done as a lot has been done and will bring something new. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be even more powerful agency in terms of the implementation of the foreign policy of Pridnestrovie” – said the President.
