Moscow hosted a meeting between PMR's Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev and Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Gubarev.
In the framework of the meeting the sides exchanged views in detail on the current situation in the extended negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova. Vitaly Ignatiev drew attention to the lack of willingness of the Moldovan side to work substantively, including on the implementation of the Berlin Protocol of June 3, 2016.
The sides expressed a common dissatisfaction with the lack of dynamism in expert (working) groups, as well as Moldovan side's refusal from a meeting of the representatives of political issues this August.
In addition, the interlocutors expressed their common hope for intensification of the negotiation process at various levels in the context of the forthcoming visit of the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Cord Hinrich Meier-Klodt to Pridnestrovie.
Аt the meeting Vitaly Ignatiev and Sergey Gubarev discussed some aspects of the current Russian-Pridnestrovian cooperation.
