- How would you describe the situation in the settlement today?
On May 9, Pridnestrovians living in the Russian Federation joined the Immortal Regiment procession in Moscow to recall the contribution that the people of Pridnestrovie made to the victory over Nazi Germany and the defeat of fascism.
Before the march started, Head of the Official Representation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the Russian Federation Leonid Manakov, on behalf of the PMR President, congratulated the Pridnestrovian citizens on Victory Day praising the sacrifice and heroism of Soviet citizens during the Great Patriotic War.
On May 6, Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev received the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation led by Roman Machover. First Deputy Chairman of the Pridnestrovian Republican Bank Alexei Melnik also took part in the meeting.
The meeting was held as part of a working visit by an ICRC mission aimed at addressing the technical aspects of aid to Ukrainian refugees and residents of Pridnestrovie.
A videoconference meeting between the Pridnestrovian and Moldovan experts on the import of medicines took place today, involving representatives of pharmaceutical companies from Pridnestrovie.
