On April 19, the Pridnestrovian side initiated a videoconference meeting of Expert (Working) Groups on Transport and Road Facilities development.
The sides continued their work on eliminating problems that the OSCE Mission registered in the October 7, 2020 Protocol, in particular, finding solutions as to reregistration of re-equipped or inherited transport units with neutral license plates.
A videoconference discussion of parties’ authorized experts on phytosanitary and veterinary took place today.
The dialogue was about importing to Pridnestrovie seeds and planting material, veterinary drugs and plant protection products, primarily through the Kuchurgany – Pervomaisk checkpoint. Pridnestrovian representatives drew attention to the inadmissibility of unreasonable bureaucratic obstacles for pesticide cargo that took place in March current year.
The PMR’s President Vadim Krasnoselsky continues the dialogue at the site of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. One of the planned meetings with Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, head of the United Russia faction, Sergey Neverov took place today.
A working meeting between the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky and the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee for CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Konstantin Zatulin took place at the site of the lower chamber of the Russian parliament.
Saluting the interlocutor, the Head of the Pridnestrovian state highly appreciated the existing level of bilateral contacts and expressed gratitude to the Russian parliamentarian for constant attention to Pridnestrovians’ aspirations.
During his working visit to the Russian Federation, the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky met with Andrei Rudenko, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. The dialogue took place at the Russian Foreign Ministry site. The Russian side was represented by Ambassador-at-Large Vitaly Tryapitsyn and Director of the Second Department of the CIS Countries Alexei Polishchuk whilst the Pridnestrovian side got represented by the Pridnestrovian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vitaly Ignatiev.
As part of the working trip to the capital of the Russian Federation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev met with Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Vitaly Tryapitsyn.
During his working visit to Moscow, the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky held meetings at the site of the Official Representation of Pridnestrovie. Today, he talked with Alexander Brod, the member of the Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights under the President of the Russian Federation, Director of the Moscow Bureau for Human Rights. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR, Vitaly Ignatiev and the head of the PMR Official Representation in Moscow, Leonid Manakov attended the discussion as well.
Paying a working visit to the Russian capital, the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky met with Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozak.
During the conversation, the Head of the Pridnestrovian state highly appreciated the existing level of contacts with the Russian side, which are according to him of an intensive and constructive nature.
The Pridnestrovian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev gave an interview to Johanna Melén, the Radio Sweden correspondent. The journalist was interested in a wide range of issues related to the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian negotiation process, republic’s international contacts development and Pridnestrovian statehood’s genesis and prospects.
On March 26, took place the first videoconference meeting of Expert (Working) Groups from Pridnestrovie and Moldova on Regulatory and Documentary Support.
During the meeting, parties discussed a wide range of problems that citizens face when preparing documents, and agreed to exchange proposals as to the two-way mechanism for exchange of information through civil registry offices and archival services.
