​The first round of negotiations in the 5+2 format under German Chairmanship in the OSCE, which was held on June 2-3, 2016, ended with a briefing of political representatives of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova. Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ambassador Cord Meier-Klodt and Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Michael Scanlan summed up the discussion.


At the end of a regular round of the Permanent Conference on Political Issues in the Framework of the Negotiating Process on the Pridnestrovian settlement, held in Berlin on 2-3 June this year, representatives from the Republic of Moldova and Pridnestrovie, as well as Russia, Ukraine and the OSCE signed a protocol.

Delegation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic today departed for Berlin for an official meeting of the “Permanent Conference on Political Issues in the Framework of the Negotiating Process for the Pridnestrovian Settlement”, which will be held on 2-3 June this year.



President Yevgeny Shevchuk held an enlarged meeting of the Security Council and the State Council of the PMR. In the agenda there were issues of economic security of the country as a whole, as well as the functioning of the international transport communication and the SUE “Pridnestrovian Railway”, the current situation on the currency market. The meeting was attended by the heads of the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government, the Presidential Administration.



Head of state Yevgeny Shevchuk received Acting Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev and Director of the SUE “Pridnestrovian Railway” Oleg Kulbikov. The meeting was also attended by Chairman of the Government Pavel Prokudin.

The working meeting focused on a broad spectrum of issues related to the situation in the Pridnestrovian railway and outlook for the enterprise.


​Today, May 26, 2016, a meeting of Pridnestrovie and Moldova’s expert (working) groups on the development of transport and road facilities was held in the office of the OSCE Mission in Tiraspol.



​President Yevgeny Shevchuk had a meeting with acting Foreign Minister. Vitaly Ignatiev informed the president about the current situation in the work of the expert (working) groups from Pridnestrovie and Moldova.



The meeting between Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Astrid Thors was held at the PMR's MFA. The meeting was also attended by Minister of Education of the PMR Tatyana Tsivinskaya.
